This soapstock is a by-product of the chemical refining of Rice bran oil, which produced by neutralizing free fatty acids. It can be used to produce soaps and other products for the cosmetic, toiletry and animal feeds industries. Other major application of this product is to extract the valuable compounds like oryzanol and ferulic acid.
